Meetpoint project (2023–2025) has started in Ahjola Settlement. Meetpoint activity will strengthen students mental health and prevents loneliness by guided peer support and voluntary group activities. Meetpoint activities will be developed together with students and partners by service design methods. The activities will start in the Autumn 2023.
Target group
Young people and young adults who studies in Tampere
- University students (approx. 19–29 years old)
- Secondary School students (approx. 16–20 years old)
- Students in TUVA Preparatory Training (approx. 20–29 years old)

Develop free time activities for students to support mental health
A new project has started at Ahjola Settlement. The activity aim is to strengthen the students mental health and to prevent loneliness among students. At the moment we are looking for students to help us plan activities which will start during the Autumn. The students will brainstorm and plan activities, visual identity and a meeting place in the city centre of Tampere.

You can participate one time or more.
What happens at the meetings?
- Participants will get to know each other with fun activities (for example escape room).
- There will be delicious food.
- Brainstorm ideas for free time activities for students with the help of Ahjola employees (Siina and Fiia).
