When can I register?
Registration for Finnish courses starts on Monday 17 December 2012 at 10.00 and for other courses on Tuesday 18 December at 18.00.
How do I register?
Please call 044 553 8451 or 044 553 8414 or register online www.ahjola.fi/kansalaisopisto. Upon registration you will need to provide your social security number and your contact information. The e-form is in Finnish only. Please call one of the above numbers if you need help or prefer to register over the phone.
The courses that take place in Hervanta at Naistari or Hervannan Ässäkodit do not require advance registration. Please check availability of places on the first day of the course.
Please note that all Finnish courses (with the exception of Finnish for beginners ) are taught in Finnish from the beginning. However, the teachers do speak English and will be able to clarify any misunderstandings that may occur.

Finnish Level 1 Summer Intensive consists of 6 weekly lessons, 3 lessons at a time. The aim of the course is to provide the participants with sufficient skills so that they can continue their Finnish studies at level 2 in the autumn. This five-month twice-a-week beginner-level course is designed for those who have recently arrived in Finland. The course focuses on everyday language use, but it also prepares students for further study of Finnish.The tuition language is English, but Finnish will be used more and more as the course advances.
